 Community Kitchen Program of Calgary Working within our communities to help people learn to feed themselves in an economical, nutritious and sustainable manner, overcoming barriers of isolation, poverty, cultural and racial, as we assist individuals and families to navigate through financial hardships in a compassionate supportive manner. We are a charitable organization dedicated to gathering and distribution of quality emergency food to those in need.  NeighbourLink Calgary Our focus is on the prevention of homelessness by getting resources to at-risk families before they drop through the cracks to the street. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - we help people stay in their homes, avoiding the extremely high cost of shelters and the enormous resources of time and effort it takes to 'rescue' homeless people and help them to become self-sufficient.  Calgary Eye Way Society The Calgary Eye Way Society is working in Calgary to help people with poor eye sight get the glasses they need. Clients have their eyes tested and are given the eye glasses, free of charge.
